Pulmonary examination program usually takes place on an outpatient basis within 1-2 days and includes:
- Interview with the doctor (history taking, differential diagnosis, formation of the examination program)
- General spirography
- Specialized spirography with determination of airway resistance and statistical Compliance determination
- BGA-test (determination of the degree of blood oxygen saturation)
- Detection of infectious pathogens by specialized laboratory blood assay and cytological examination of sputum
- X-ray examination of the lungs
- If necessary, bronchoscopy, including bronchoalveolar lavage and biopsy with the possibility of one-stage curative intervention
- If necessary, MRI/CT of the chest
- Discussion with a specialist on the results of the examination, if necessary - prescription of a treatment plan
If indicated, more in-depth investigations may be prescribed:
